It is the collective name for the protocols, accounts and smart contracts that make up this new ecosystem. It is designed to finance a regenerative economy by subsidizing and rewarding regenerative practices (social, environmental, financial and other domains), campaigns, and solutions; aligning business incentives towards regeneration; providing grants for regenerative projects and campaigns; and empowering local and circular economies through subsidizing the transition to regenerative industries.

It is a platform for a truly ‘conscious currency’; one that aligns the interests of funders, users, founders, beneficiaries, earth and contributors as we come together to co-create a new future. It depends on how active you would like to be in contributing to a more regenerative world. The most active vote on and submit proposals that support a regenerative economy and civilization, as outlined [[SEEDS_Changemaker_Guide#Voting_On_and_Submitting_Proposals|here]].

This means SEEDizens with the highest ranking in contribution have no more than twice the decision-making influence of the average SEEDizen.

SEEDS has a large exponentially growing global community of over 1000 active participants among 7000, who are dedicated to ensuring Seeds becomes a legitimate currency.

Just like seeds itself, there is little to no immediate benefit in terms of [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiat_money Fiat money] (our default currency). The Seeds currency is a long-term investment in growing a regenerative economy, and are meant to be planted and supported over time. However, especially for the underprivileged like refugee communities, Seeds enables a global bank account on your mobile device, and the ability for people to directly contribute Seeds to that account. This becomes significant as Seeds is expected to increase from $.09 in value to the US dollar in the summer of 2021 to $.80 of the US dollar when it officially enters the world of currencies in a few years.

So as a promoter you don't need to do that process of sending invites by yourself, you can share the Private key to some other member of the organization to manage the funds and invites. The process of sending invites is currently manual but in the next release of the Passport App, organizations will be able to send bulk invites to many people.
